With unique love comes unique souls. With unique souls comes an abundance of character, personality and whole lot of moments that fill your belly with laughter. Capturing the humble love of Jess and Andrew was exactly that. A day of endless energies, effortless perfection and cheeky pieces of their true selves sprinkled throughout that perfectly aligned with their bursting personalities.
Finding the true character of someone that connects with yours, does not come easy. When the Bride and Groom both mention metal music and wedding in the same sentence, how could it be anything but true love? Jess described her stand out moments from the day with words such as; ‘fireworks, golf carts and Metal music’. Andrew complimented it perfectly with ‘Fireworks, fantastic music and unorthodox fun’. It was the tune that accompanied Jess down the aisle that they loved the most. Watching the guests expressions as the graceful bride walked elegantly down the aisle to the Darth Vader’s Star Wars theme song, The Imperial Death March.
Starwars definitely ticked boxes for guests that I dare say they have never experienced. Jess and Andrew’s day of true happiness reflected their own unique love and individuality. However, this didn’t stop the romantic from oozing out of Andrew, oh no – his admiration for Jess had romance written all over it and we have the incredibly intimate proposal story to prove it

The Proposal:
A three-month holiday across Scandinavia, Europe and the USA was set in their sights with their first stop in Norway. Jetlag in tow, Jess and Andrew didn’t waste any time exploring the exquisite city of Oslo – little did Jess know that this breathtaking exploration was more or less a scouting mission for Andrew find the perfect location for her hand in his eternity.
A little restaurant housed pizza, wine and milkshakes; candlelit stone walls, good food – this place had a good vibe to it – the time had come. A little after dinner wander led to find the perfect sunset on the hill of a fort that overlooked the river. Jess’ second favourite flower, snapdragons, were sprouting forth from pots beside the path and just as the sun was setting, Andrew got down on one knee – the rest, as they say, is history.
Everyone deserves to love and to be loved; it is by far the greatest gift in life. Jess and Andrew, I truly believe that this will forever be one of the most cherished gifts you will ever receive from one another. Love forms through the adventures of minutes and days, so enjoy every second that lies ahead.
