Toni and Reece fell in love after meeting at work. Reece proposed to Toni at Shornecliffe Waterfront, on the couple’s third anniversary. After the romantic proposal, the couple began planning their amazing rustic rainforest wedding at Walkabout Creek.
Walkabout Creek is a beautiful and natural setting. It makes a brilliant backdrop for Wedding Photography. Held in the Autumn, this was a wedding that made full use of the unique surroundings. An otherworldly rainforest wedding venue.
The couple chose to decorate the wedding venue themselves. With the help of Toni’s sister’s amazing handmade floral decorations, the venue looked spectacular. These were all made with blooms purchased from the local flower market. The florals looked incredible displayed throughout the venue.
I asked the couple about their favourite moments from the day, and Reece told us that it had to be seeing his wife walking down the aisle. Toni mentioned that holding Reeces hand at the end of the aisle was her favourite.
Walk About Creek Weddings
Toni wore a dress from White Lily Couture. Reece chose a suit from Politix. Make-up was by Lily Brady, and Toni’s hair was by Anthea Allen from Co. Hairdressing.
Toni told us that marriage means “always feeling safe, secure and loved and always being able to count on your other person,” with Reece adding that for him it is the knowledge that “she will always be there for me no matter what happens in life.”
Their relationship, they told us, is honest, fun and reliable, with plenty of humour too. Toni told us that Reece’s sense of humour is one of her favourite things about him. Similarly, Reece said that it’s Toni’s infectious smile and great personality that really stands out.
Toni and Reece later told us that the wedding “was by far the best day of our lives. Our lives changed astronomically after the wedding for the better, more than we could have ever expected.” That sounds like a successful wedding to us!
