It was the celebration of celebrations, the kind that ended (or began, depends what way you look at it) with Espresso Martinis at 2am and long loud chants of celebration– but this was far from any standard celebration, and more phenomenal than any wedding dream Rachel and Nick could have imagined.

A million memories were created during a night of classic moments and unforgettable tales as guests danced around the minimalistic Lightspace venue with full drinks in hand and the happiest of hearts. The incredible band, BenJam, added a little extra spice and quadrupled their band size as they handed out instruments and trinkets for all the guests to use as they joined in on a little melody makin’. The energy levels were high and the ever-growing dance floor was certainly the place to be – It was truly one incredible celebration of love.

But let’s take a step back for just a moment; In September 2013, Rachel and Nick entered a blind date at the Glass Restaurant Marina Mirage on the Gold Coast. It was love at first sight and soon after, Nick’s love instantly doubled after meeting Rachel’s number one man, her son Matthew. Their love quickly grew into a forever and on a mid-deployment trip to Bali, Nick knew exactly where his heart was to reside and asked Rachel to be his wife. The rest, as they say, is history.

What stands out about your partner?
Groom: A strong and motivated woman who loves her family dearly. Despite being miniature in size her personality is capable of filling a room; her laugh is infectious – she is just absolutely beautiful.
Bride: Other than his giant like statue, his goofy way he will attempt to be funny and then laugh uncontrollably when he isn’t. His adorable big brown eyes that only get bigger when he looks at his kids and his kindness to everyone that crosses his path.

Your stand out moments from the day: For me it was the ceremony; Nick wrote commitment vows to my son. He promised to love and support him forever – it was so humbling; I fell totally in love with him all over again at that moment. �__
When he tells you that he loves the most in just your jeans and a t-shirt, but loses his breath and giggles like a school girl when he sees you as flawless as ever in your stunning wedding gown, well that right is true love – that the kind that lasts forever and day.
